The Gwesty'r Emlyn Hotel dates back over 300 years, when it was a Coaching Inn. It is in the centre of Newcastle Emlyn, a busy Market Town at the border of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.
Newcastle Emlyn is in the Teify valley which is very popular for Salmon and Sewin (migratory trout) fishing, and is in a very central location between the Market Towns of Carmarthen, Cardigan and Lampeter.
The staff at the Gwesty'r Emlyn Hotel are looking forward to your visit and pride themselves in making your stay here enjoyable and memorable - whether you a staying here for a few days or are just calling in for lunch or an evening meal.
While the Hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment program, we can assure you that this is carried out without disturbing or inconveniencing our guests.

We have eight en-suite bedrooms that have undergone a thorough tasteful modernization and are furnished to high standards. We offer a full Welsh breakfast that gives you a great start to your day. All have been individually designed with luxurious furnishings staying true to the character of the building.
